A one-day BS 5839-1 fire detection and alarm system maintenance course taught by an industry expert. Attendees will develop further the knowledge gained on our BS 5839-1 foundation course and/or their own industry experience of the maintenance of fire systems.
Description
C-TEC’s BS 5839-1 fire detection and alarm system maintenance course provides practical application information on how to comply with BS 5839-1 and how to deal with incomplete documentation, being unable to perform prescribed tests and sufficient record keeping. All learners are required to complete a practical application on the maintenance of a fire system to the requirements of BS 5839-1.

Delegates will be assessed at the end of the course and a certificate of achievement worth 8 CPD hours will be presented to all those who pass. On successful completion of all C-TEC’s BS 5839-1 courses, learners can then choose to sit an exam to gain an industry-recognised qualification through FireQual, the specialist awarding body for the fire protection sector in the UK.
