A five-day fast-track course comprising all aspects of BS 5839-1. Taught by an industry expert, this intensive week-long course covers Foundation, Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance to equip delegates with the knowledge and expertise to gain an industry-recognised qualification through FireQual, the specialist awarding body for the fire protection sector in the UK.

Day 1 – BS 5839-1 Foundation Course in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
Designed to provide delegates with in-depth knowledge of the standards relating to fire systems, C-TEC’s fire detection and alarm systems foundation course marks the start of your journey towards an industry-recognised qualification!

Day 2 – BS 5839-1 Design Course in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
An intensive BS 5839-1 fire detection and alarm systems design course taught by an industry expert. Attendees will develop the knowledge gained from our foundation course and/or draw on industry experience of system design.

Days 3 and 4 – BS 5839-1 Installation & Commissioning Course in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
An intensive BS 5839-1 fire detection and alarm system installation and commissioning course taught by a highly qualified industry expert. Attendees will build on the knowledge gained from our BS 5839-1 foundation course and/or industry experience of installation and commissioning fire systems.

Day 5 – BS 5839-1 Maintenance Course in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
An intensive BS 5839-1 fire detection and alarm system maintenance course taught by an industry expert. Attendees will develop the knowledge gained on our BS 5839-1 foundation course and/or industry experience of the maintenance of fire systems.
